About our digital cards
Guka provides non-payment digital loyalty cards for small businesses. Customers can add a membership or stamp card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Guka does not issue payment cards, stored-value cards, bank cards, or financial products.

1. The Service
Guka is a loyalty card software platform operated by 5dogthings Ltd., registered in Scotland, United Kingdom. Guka enables merchants to issue digital loyalty and membership cards via Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Guka does not provide payment services, stored-value cards, or any regulated financial products. The service is for loyalty and membership purposes only.
2. Free Trial
New merchants receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. Your trial will not automatically convert to a paid subscription — you choose a plan to continue after the trial ends. All features of the selected plan are available during the trial.
3. Subscription & Pricing
Plans are billed monthly. Current prices: Loyalty Card £12/month (up to 500 customers), Pro £25/month (unlimited customers, full CRM). Prices may change with 30 days’ notice. All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely; Guka does not store card details.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel at any time in one click from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period. On cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion so you can export it.
5. Your Data
Merchants own their customer data at all times. Guka processes merchant and customer data solely to provide the loyalty card service. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Customer data collected through Guka cards belongs to the merchant. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for: (a) obtaining a lawful basis (such as customer consent) before collecting personal data through Guka; (b) informing customers how their data will be used; (c) using Guka solely for loyalty, membership, and stamp card purposes. Merchants must not use Guka to issue payment instruments, store monetary value, or conduct any regulated financial activity.
7. Limitation of Liability
Guka is provided as a software tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 5dogthings Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Our total liability to any merchant shall not exceed the fees paid in the three months preceding the claim. Guka does not guarantee specific business outcomes, retention rates, or revenue improvements.
8. Governing Law

1. Who We Are
Guka is a loyalty card platform operated by 5dogthings Ltd., registered in Scotland, United Kingdom. Questions about this policy or your data? Contact us at hello@guka.co.uk.
2. What Data We Collect
Merchant data: name, email, business name, subscription and billing information.

Customer data (collected by merchants via Guka): customer name, contact details (email or phone), member ID, stamp and points balance, visit history, redemption records, device identifiers, and Apple/Google Wallet pass tokens used to deliver pass updates.
3. How We Use Data
We use data solely to provide the Guka loyalty card service: to issue and update Wallet passes, to record stamps and redemptions, and to provide merchant analytics. We do not sell data to third parties. We do not use customer data for advertising. Merchant data is used to manage accounts and process subscriptions.
4. Wallet Pass Data
When a customer adds a Guka loyalty card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, device identifiers and pass tokens are used to send pass updates (e.g. updated stamp count). This is processed in accordance with Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies. Guka uses this data only to update the customer’s loyalty pass — never for tracking or advertising.
5. Data Retention
Merchant account data is retained for the duration of the subscription and deleted 30 days after account cancellation. Customer data is controlled by the merchant; Guka will delete it upon merchant request or account deletion. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
6. UK GDPR & Data Roles
For customer data collected through Guka, the merchant is the data controller and 5dogthings Ltd. is the data processor. Merchants are responsible for ensuring a lawful basis for collecting customer data. 5dogthings Ltd. processes data only on the merchant’s instructions, in accordance with UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable. All data is stored with encryption at rest. Guka supports data export and deletion.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Merchants can export or delete customer data at any time from their Guka dashboard. To submit a data request, contact us at hello@guka.co.uk. We respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
The Guka marketing website uses no third-party tracking cookies. The merchant dashboard uses essential session cookies to maintain your login. No advertising or analytics cookies are placed on merchant or customer devices.
